How the Labouchere System Works

So here, your first bet will be worth two units ($10). If the bet wins, you’ll cross off both the first and last numbers, so the new list will look like this:

If the bet loses however, you’ll add a number to the right hand side of the line equal to the size of the last bet. This is how the line would look if the first bet lost.

The Advantages of the Labouchere Betting System
The biggest advantage of the Labouchere betting system is the fact that you’ll actually achieve your aim the majority of the time.
Consider that every time you win the line will reduce in length by 2, and every time you lose the line will increase by only one. This means that you’ll only have to win a third of the time to maintain the line. In reality, you’ll expect to win much more than a third of the time, so the line will eventually shrink to nothing, meaning you’ve met your aim.

Basically you only stop once you have crossed all of the numbers off your list and your predetermined profit is achieved. What number pattern you should choose for this roulette system is tricky to predict. Some (more experienced) roulette players, play multiple number series at the same time. At one stage they use consecutive numbers, then they put them in a random order.

If you play online roulette with these method and you have a winning series (that is, out of the total number of bets you have won more often than you have lost) then the system has worked perfectly and has ensured good winnings.
